Terms and conditions

  1. Subject and Parties and Application of Terms 1.1 These Terms and Conditions are applicable when they concern Koulutus Invest Oy (Business VAT 2764876-3), which provides online services requiring registration to consumers (hereinafter "Customer"). Such online services are referred to as "Services" in this context. 1.2 The content of the Service and the company providing the Service are determined by these terms and conditions related to the respective Service. Koulutus Invest Oy, which provides the Service, is the contracting party to the Customer. By using the Services or accessing them, the Customer accepts the Service Terms and other applicable terms and agrees to comply with them. This also applies to the instructions provided by Koulutus Invest Oy in connection with the Services.

  2. Registration as a Customer and Activation of Services 2.1 To use the Services, it is necessary to register as a user of the Services and accept the Terms of Use and other relevant Service terms. The Customer can then use the Services either during registration or by logging in with the provided credentials. Current instructions for registration can be found in connection with the Services. 2.2 The use of the Services requires the Customer to be at least 15 years old, a natural person, to accept the Service terms in their own name. A person under 15 years of age cannot accept the Service terms in their own name.

  3. Use of the Services 3.1 The Customer must comply with the applicable terms, instructions, and applicable laws when using the Services. The Customer has the right to use the Services only for the intended purpose of the respective Service. The Services are intended only for private individuals for personal use. 3.2 The Customer accepts the Service and uses it at their own risk. The Customer is responsible for all costs related to the use of the Services. The Customer is also responsible for orders, payments, and other transactions made through the Services. 3.3 The use of the Service may enable access to third-party products and services, as well as ordering them. The Services may also display advertisements from Koulutus Invest Oy or third parties. Koulutus Invest Oy is not responsible for products or services offered by third parties or for the content, information, or materials produced by third parties. If the Customer acquires a third-party product or service, the respective third party is responsible for that product or service. Koulutus Invest Oy is not responsible for third-party offers or their content. The third party may collect its customer data and is responsible for data management.

  4. Customer's Responsibility 4.1 Credentials The use of credentials (such as username and password) is equivalent to the Customer's personal signature in payment transactions, order placement, and other transactions. The Customer agrees to be bound by all actions taken with the Customer's credentials or on behalf of the Customer. If a third party gains access to or the Customer loses their credentials, the Customer must immediately change their credentials or inform Koulutus Invest Oy. The Customer's responsibility for the use of such credentials and any damage caused by their use immediately ceases when the Customer makes this notification to Koulutus Invest Oy through customer service or when the Customer changes their credentials. 4.2 Devices and Software The Customer is responsible for the costs and operation of the devices, software, and communication and data communication connections required for the use of the Services, as well as their proper and adequate protection and security. 4.3 Information The Customer must provide the necessary information for the Services. The Customer must promptly notify of any changes to the information. The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided for the Services. Koulutus Invest is not obligated to check or correct information provided by the Customer in connection with the Services. 4.4 Consequences If the content of the information provided by the Customer to Koulutus Invest Oy is contrary to the Service Terms or the instructions provided, Koulutus Invest Oy is not obligated to implement the Services in accordance with the mentioned agreements or information. If it is found that the material processed by the Customer through the Services is offensive, violates the rights of another author, or is otherwise illegal or against the Service Terms, Koulutus Invest Oy has the right to remove such material. In addition, Koulutus Invest Oy has the right to terminate the contract and/or suspend the use of the Services due to abuse, as specified in sections 6.1, 6.2, and 6.3.

  5. Amendment of Terms and Conditions 5.1 The Customer is aware that Koulutus Invest Oy continuously develops the Services, and therefore, the range and content of the Services may change. Koulutus Invest Oy has the right to discontinue the provision of the Services or parts of them. In such cases, Koulutus Invest Oy has the right to terminate the agreement concerning the Services, in whole or in part, as specified in section 6.1. 5.2 If the amendment of the Terms does not increase the Customer's obligations or reduce their rights, or if the amendment is due to a change in the law or a decision by an authority, Koulutus Invest Oy has the right to inform the Customer of the change in connection with the Services. The change due to a change in the law or a decision by an authority takes effect immediately. Other changes take effect at the time specified by Koulutus Invest Oy. 5.3 If the amendment to the contract increases the Customer's obligations or reduces their rights and is not due to a change in the law or a decision by an authority, Koulutus Invest Oy will notify the Customer by electronic letter or other personal means through the Services or otherwise. The change takes effect at the time specified by Koulutus Invest Oy, however, no earlier than 30 days after Koulutus Invest Oy has notified of the change. 5.4 If the Customer does not accept the new terms after Posti has announced the contract amendment according to section 5.3, the Customer has the right to terminate the contract. If the Customer submits a notice of termination to Koulutus Invest Oy in accordance with section 6.1 at least 7 days before the effective date of the new terms, the new terms will not bind the Customer. The Customer is bound to the old terms until the effective date of the new terms at the latest.

  6. Validity, Termination, and Closure of Contracts and Services 6.1 Validity and Termination of the Agreement The agreement comes into force when the Customer accepts the Service terms by registering for the Service or otherwise. The agreement is valid indefinitely. After entering into the agreement, the Customer has fourteen days to cancel the agreement. However, the right of cancellation does not exist after the Customer has started using the Services. Koulutus Invest Oy can terminate the agreement regarding the Service with a notice period of 30 days. The Customer can terminate the agreement regarding
